Anyone who has donated and has installed the presets will have an update in their account and I will send out a notice and the free version will also be fixed too (including the updated fix in the json file) nkfs file so I just have to change the "gain" attribute to a lower value which is the same value in all presets so I can batch run that easy. The good news is this is an easy fix within the actual.

When I tested a number of patches as I was creating them they were all too soft to clip but later I found some of the arps and especially EDM did cause a clip.

The Master Volume isn't reset with a preset and remains throughout ALL presets. When I did the first tests and created my template file the first control I mapped was Master and I tweaked that to see if it worked ok and of course it was set too high at default. Issue 2: I noticed this once I had completed the process and I know exactly why. I did have an additional category called "Power Synth" but removed that. Issue 1: I had tested a few different ways of displaying categories and it seemed to work when I left the comma in (is on mine) so I left it. I may post a video if there is interest showing how it works and how anyone can do it with some free tools (AutoIT for Windows)Ĭlick to expand. Thanks for the feedback.
#Omnisphere 2 demo manual
Of course there is some manual intervention required every now and then but much of it I can VNC in and continue when i'm not home and leave it running overnight (which is good because i'm away often)įor those that are keen to know more about the process to possibly get started yourself see my info page: My calculations estimate it will take my scripts about 2 weeks of solid running to completely rip all presets and work through the tag categories to 4 tags deep (Category > Type > Mood > Genre). I will post up the Arp library soon so users can download and test how it functions and see if it is something they would like to see more of. Seems a waste really and I highly doubt Spectrasonics to play with NI and update NKS into Omnisphere, but only for Komplete stuff which is only about 30% of what I use. I test ran the Akai Advance and though I had a few issues which ultimately saw me take it back I was impressed with the software and the ability to dial in sounds regardless of the VST they live in. Personally I love the challenge but being a solid DAW producer since the days of Commodore and Amiega where you had to program your music in basic language (i'm "only" 34) the dream of being able to one day just locate a sound WHEN you want it, not by chance or in many of my cases, not at all and playing GTA instead. I am hoping what I achieve is for similar minded people such as myself to realise the potential and start building the support by creating preset packs just as we all did for Ableton and Push.
